The Version 15.3 update is a minor update that consists of Tabs3 Trust Accounting (TAS) Credit Card Authorization and support for integrating PracticeMaster with CompuLaw Version 10. This update is a downloadable update available for Version 15.1 and Version 15.2 users. A detailed list of these new features can be found in the Version 15.3 What's New List at:
CompuLaw Note: Do NOT install Version 15.3 if you are a CompuLaw user and have NOT updated to CompuLaw Version 10. CompuLaw users must coordinate the PracticeMaster Version 15.3 update with their CompuLaw Version 10 upgrade. Once you install PracticeMaster Version 15.3, you cannot use CompuLaw integration until CompuLaw has been upgraded.

After downloading and installing Version 15.3, the file structure for the Tabs3 and Tabs3 Trust Accounting Software (TAS) data files needs to be updated. If Tabs3 or TAS is installed, when TAS (or Tabs3 or APS) is started for the first time, a manager must log in and the following message will be displayed indicating the System Files need to be updated.
Tabs3 System Files need to be updated before continuing. System files can only be updated by a manager. Update files at this time?
Clicking Yes will update the files. However, if the software is started by a non-manager, clicking Yes will display the following message.
Access Denied.
Once the update has completed, the following message will be displayed.
Update completed successfully.
If PracticeMaster is started before the TAS data files have been updated, the following message will be displayed:
A new version of Tabs3 and PracticeMaster has been installed that requires a conversion to be run. PracticeMaster will be unavailable until the conversion has finished. Please start Tabs3 or Trust Accounting to run the conversion.
Clicking OK will close PracticeMaster. Simply start Tabs3 or TAS to perform the automatic conversion.
With Version 15.3, you can now authorize credit card payments for deposit into Tabs3 Trust Accounting software. With Version 15.2, we added the ability to authorize credit card payments in Tabs3. Additional information regarding credit card processing can be found in the following locations.

If you are using PracticeMaster to integrate with the CompuLaw Rules Engine, it is critical that you coordinate the conversions of both PracticeMaster and CompuLaw.
