Taskbill Integration Requirements for
TABS III and Chrysler Credit Corporation

This document provides technical information about how to set up TABS III in order to facilitate the export of information to the format required by Chrysler. Please review this document carefully before attempting to export data for Chrysler matters.

Billing Number

Chrysler’s billing number is stored in miscellaneous line 2 on the Desc tab of the Client Data Entry program in TABS III. You will have to make sure the billing number is stored in miscellaneous line 2 for all Chrysler matters.

Task Code Number

The task code must be entered as part of the TABS III fee or cost description. Each code must be surrounded by a pair of "(" and ")" characters. The TASKBILL program will extract the codes from the description, put them in the correct location in the export file, and erase them from the fee or cost description.

Extra text in descriptions

The descriptions that are entered into TABS III may have extra text surrounded by a pair of "*" characters. The descriptions that are converted in the Chrysler export file will omit this extra text.

Following are some examples of what descriptions might look like as they are stored in TABS III:

(120) *GENERAL DOCUMENT PREPARATION - CONTRACTS OF SALE* FORBEARANCE AGREEMENT WITH REAL PROPERTY, VOLUNTARY SURRENDER, NOTE AND DEED OF TRUST

(77) *DOCUMENT REVIEW - OTHER AGREEMENTS AND DOCUMENTS* SUMMONS AND COMPLAINT

(119) *GENERAL DOCUMENT PREPARATION - SETTLEMENT AGREEMENTS* REDRAFT FORBEARANCE AGREEMENT TO ADJUST FOR ‘KEEPER’ COLLECTIONS

Following are examples the above descriptions would look like in the Chrysler export file:
