Undo Updated Statements

Changed the program name for the Undo Updated Statement program to Undo
Single Updated Statement program.

Added an Undo Multiple Updated Statements program that allows you to undo
multiple updated statements with the same statement date for multiple clients.
Once a statement date is specified, you can filter which statements are
processed by specifying a range of clients, name search, primary timekeeper,
secondary timekeeper, originating timekeeper, and category. This program
can be accessed from the Statements menu by selecting Undo Updated Statement
| Undo Multiple Updated Statements.
Reprint Updated Statements

Changed the program name for the Reprint Updated Statement program to Reprint
Single Updated Statement.

Added a Reprint Multiple Updated Statements program that allows you to
reprint multiple updated statements with the same statement date for multiple
clients. Once a statement date is specified, you can filter which statements
are processed by specifying a range of clients, name search, primary timekeeper,
secondary timekeeper, originating timekeeper, and category. This program
can be accessed from the Statements menu by selecting Reprint Updated Statement

Pre-Bill Tracking

Added a Timekeeper column to the Pre-Bill Tracking window.

Added the ability to easily sort Pre-Bill Tracking records by Client ID,
Client Name, Description, Timekeeper, Pre-Bill Date, Hold Status, Reviewed
Status, Final Date, or Batch by clicking the column header.

Added the ability to display records for a specific Primary, Secondary,
or Originating timekeeper or a range of timekeepers.

Added the ability to resize the Pre-Bill Tracking window, thus allowing
more records to be shown at one time.

Added the ability to resize the columns in the Pre-Bill Tracking window.
Column widths are saved for the next session.

Added the ability to easily select multiple records by clicking a record
and dragging the mouse over the records to be selected.

The Filtering options are now included in a Pre-Bill Tracking Options
window which is accessed by clicking the Options button in the Pre-Bill
Tracking window.
TABS III Multimedia Tutorial
-
STI has developed a Multimedia Tutorial for TABS III training purposes.
Video clips for more than 80 topics are included with over 6 hours of
material. This tutorial is ideal for introducing unfamiliar features as
well as training new personnel. The video clips can be accessed via TABS
IIIs Help menu as well as from the STI CD-ROM Browser. For convenience,
you can even install the tutorial onto a different computer such as a laptop
so it can travel with you. Once installed, you can pick and choose which
video clips you want to play. Videos can be played with sound only or with
text only thus providing flexibility for those systems that dont have
a sound card installed.

Recap of Hours

Added columns for Client Name and Work Description on the Recap of Hours
window.

Changed the Timekeeper field on the Recap of Hours window to always default
to the last saved timekeeper number.
Recap of Hours Report

Added drill-down capabilities to the Recap of Hours Report allowing you
to edit fee transactions directly from the Preview window.

Transactions can be filtered by billable or non-billable status.
-
Clicking on the Billable total for a day will display a list of billable
fee transactions.
-
Clicking on the Non-Billable total for a day will display a list of non-billable
fee transactions.
-
Clicking on the Daily total will display a list with billable and non-billable
transactions.
-
Double-clicking an individual work-in-process transaction will open a fee
data entry window allowing you to review, edit, or delete the transaction.
Client Ledger Report

Added an optional Bill Total column on the Client Ledger Report that
provides individual statement totals as well as the total amount billed
for a client on the report.

Added the option to exclude any or all of the following columns: Finance
Charge, Fee Sales Tax, Expense Sales Tax, Advance Sales Tax, and Bill Total.
Verification Lists

Added the option to print the timekeeper initials instead of the timekeeper
number on the Fee and Cost Verification List.

Users with Manager rights now have the ability to Print or Delete Verification
Lists for all users in one step. This feature is available for the Fee,
Cost and Payment Verification Lists.

Adjust Flat Fee Clients
-
Added the ability to adjust a range of fee entries to the clients present
flat fee amount. Instead of adjusting all fee entries, you can now specify
ranges of dates, timekeepers, tcodes and categories. This feature greatly
expands the flat fee billing capabilities of TABS III.
Change Client Options
-
Added an Inactive check box to the Desc Status tab of the Change Client
Options program. This check box allows you to change the Inactive status
for multiple clients.
Client Tab
-
Added the ability to select or exclude clients by their Release to Bill
and Bill on Demand status. This feature allows you to easily isolate Bill
on Demand clients. The Release to Bill and Bill on Demand options can be
accessed on the Client tab by selecting a Status of Specific and clicking
the Select Status button.
View Menu

Added an Error Log and a Reset Log menu option to the View | Log Files
menu allowing you to easily view and print the corresponding log files.

Moved the Support Log menu option to the View | Log Files menu option.
Active User List
-
Added the ability for managers to optionally view the status of all users
in all STI software instead of having to view this information from STI
System Configuration.

Added the ability to reset selected users by allowing you to select more
than one record in the list. Previously, you had to reset users individually
or reset all users.
Enhanced Error Troubleshooting

Added links to the errors listed in the Errors online Help topic that access
the corresponding STI Knowledge Base articles on the Internet. Extensive troubleshooting information is provided in the
Knowledge Base for each specific error.
STI System Configuration
-
Built in Temporary Backup and Restore Programs - Added the ability to make
a temporary backup of the STI System Configuration data files from within
the software using the new Back Up Data Files program. The backup file
is created in a BACKUP subdirectory below the program directory. The
new Restore Data Files program allows you to restore the temporary backup.
Only one backup file is maintained. The backup procedure is a temporary
backup and is intended not to replace, but rather supplement, existing
backup procedures.
